Bicycle tires are not cheap. I found this out when I was trying to replace mountain bike tires with a set of hybrid tires. The plan was to barter with the shop — t-shirt designs for new tires. Waiting in the shop, I heard the owner repeat a line when he sold a customer a new bike or product. That was the moment we knew we were tapping into something special.
